Talent Appearance Request Procedures
- Any use of talent (Featured Creators, Invited Guests, other talent) at sponsor’s public-facing activation requires VidCon’s approval.
- Final talent plans and proposals – including names of all talent, the date and time, and the context of the requested appearance – must be submitted to VidCon no later than May 19.
- VidCon has the explicit right to shut down talent activations and appearances that are not pre-approved. This includes any modifications to pre-approved plans (i.e. changes in time, location, or additional talent).
- VidCon has the explicit right to shut down talent activations and appearances that ARE pre-approved if the appearances become unsafe at any time.
- Talent appearance approvals may be contingent on sponsor ordering security to being present during the appearance. All costs related to security orders for activation appearances are the responsibility of the sponsor.
- VidCon cannot guarantee approval of all submitted talent, so sponsors are encouraged to submit their requests as soon as possible.
All talent appearance request forms are due May 19.
