All food and beverage served in the sponsor’s space must be ordered through or approved by Aramark, the sole provider of food and beverage at the Anaheim Convention Center. Orders must be placed by May 27.

If a sponsor plans to bring in outside samples, they must obtain approval from Aramark and complete the Orange County Health Department form. Sponsors can email [email protected] for the latest sampling form. Be sure to include your Client Success Manager on CC for coordination.

If you are interested in handing out food and beverage samples, whether ordered through Aramark or an outside vendor, you must coordinate with Aramark using their sampling form linked below.

General Conditions for Sampling

Sponsors and exhibitors must adhere to the following conditions for food and beverage sampling: 

• Product Restrictions: 
  • Items dispensed must be manufactured, processed, or distributed by the exhibitor or sponsor. 
  • All items must be limited to the sample sizes and distributed exclusively from the exhibit location.
• Sample Size Limits: 
  • Food and beverage samples must be under 3 ounces. 
  • Samples above 3 ounces will incur fees, and a sampling form and Certificate of Insurance (COI) must be provided to Aramark. 
  • Samples below 3 ounces will not incur fees.

• Certificate of Liability: 
  • Exhibitors and sponsors must provide Aramark Catering Services with a certificate of liability with coverage of $2,000,000 per occurrence. 
  • The certificate must name ARAMARK Corporation, the City of Anaheim, and the Anaheim Convention Center as additional insured. 
  • Submit the certificate no later than three business days before VidCon.
• Prohibited Activities: 
  • Exhibitors and sponsors are not permitted to sell any food or beverage items.
